Baitrunner D

The Baitrunner D has enough power to take on even the biggest fish. Popular with big-game anglers worldwide, this reel is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fishing and has become a firm favourite amongst catfish and predator anglers across Europe. The Baitrunner D, with its striking, deep-set golden aluminium spool, is unmistakable. If you’re looking for durability and performance in a mid-range price bracket, this could be the reel for you. The Baitrunner D is popular with predator anglers, particularly those targeting large catfish, but also has the power to take on feisty saltwater predators.

The various sizes and versatile performance make the Baitrunner D a safe choice when fishing for a wide range of species, from carp and pike to catfish – with this reel, you can take on any opponent. The Baitrunner D’s power comes from its shielded A-RB ball bearings, milled aluminium handle and high-torque gear ratio. Built to Shimano’s high standards, it inspires confidence and delivers indestructible power. For anglers who prefer a secure grip, the larger models are equipped with ergonomic handle knobs taken from the sea reel range, whilst there are also two medium-sized (6000, 8000) ‘EU’ models with ‘T’-shaped knobs.
